Jennifer Cullen has a Bachelor's degree from Boise State University in Elementary Education and a Master's degree from Arizona State University in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis.

For the past seven years, she has worked with children, teens, and young adults with various special needs. She started the Social Star Academy to provide resources for parents and teachers who want to improve their child's or students' social skills and communication skills.
